Last weekend (October 21 – 24, 2011) we took a short trip to San Diego. Grandma Trevino was there on business and we kept her company (when she wasn’t working of course). So, we played while she worked. We stayed at The Hyatt right at Seaport Village, we were only five blocks from the Gas Lamp District – so we logged many, many walking miles while we were there. The weather was gorgeous and we had a blast. It is really nice to have a vacation where there aren’t really any plans, very relaxing!!
We passed the Convention Center on our our walk, so we posed for a few pictures.
Grandma Trevino, Mommy and Emily enjoying a walk in the Gas Lamp District.
Our little family on one of our walks. It is hard these days to get Emily to look at the camera.
Grandma Trevino and Emily relaxing on the bed with Olivia on the I-Pad.
The view from our hotel window.
Have I ever said before how Olivia on the I-Pad can keep Emily busy for hours????
This picture is a funny one, Grandma Trevino was trying to get the Little Italy sign for us in the background and she kind of missed Emily in the picture – she is there. You can see her ponytails…..
Emily enjoying her ride. We found the really neat Farmer’s Market in Little Italy, it was a lot of fun!!
Grandma Trevino and Emily enjoying their walk.
Daddy and Emily at Seaport Village. Just to the left of this picture was a guy that had a bunch of rocks all piled high all balanced on each other – it was really neat to see!
At Macy’s there was desk to write a letter to Santa and mail it to him. Emily had tons of fun writing her letter.
She wrote two letters, one we dropped in the mail to Santa and the other Mommy brought home for Emily’s journal.
Emily loves to lay on her belly while she is playing. Here her and Daddy were coloring in the hotel room (well, I think Daddy was more watching Emily color)!
